First deer I shot was a 7 point buck and I shot him at about 5 yards with a .50 cal CVA ML.

Killed my first deer with a bow.

First buck

Darton Yukon with 60lbs of draw weight and 26 inches of draw. Nitro Stinger arrows and spitfire mechanicals. First time I had ever hunted, opening day of bow season after being in the stand for about half an hour.

First deer with a gun was the following year, I shot a 10 point with my Remington 700 ML at about 80 yards

Highcountry, your first deer was a 7 point at 5 yards with CVA muzzleloader! There is a story behind that one and I want to hear it:D. Did you have to change your underwear afterwards?

20 ga Mossberg 500 shotgun.....still break it out once every year or so and can't wait until I can pass it down to my son to take his first deer with.

Killed my first two deer this year, both does with a Remmington 270. But for Christmas this year i got a Remmington 30-06, so hopefully my next deer will be a Buck with a 30-06.
