He's got some huge mass and spread but his height is limited.
Very nice buck! I'm not a scorer but he's huge in my book...period.

Is it just me, or does the deer look just as happy to be there?

Not Minnesota but Kenora, Ontario. I know a neigbour of the guy that shot it. She was the one who told us about it (hunter herself). Anyway it was green scored at 219 5/8. Drop tine measures 8 something. Spread is 26 1/4 (or 26 and something anyway. Can't quite remeber exactly). He got some dedductions for sure so he's going below 200 net for sure but who cares, he's another Canadian Monster.

No word yet on his feild dressed weight but he is a tank!

Northern Ontario has been producing some monsters in the Kenora and Dryden area. She also mentioned Dryden has produced anotherbig onethis year with pics to come.

You may or may not know that last year a couple fellas from somewhere down south were charged for shooting agiant after legal shooting time. It is in the Dryden Museum and scores over 200 gross and somehwere in the 190's net.

Big deer genetics happening up there trying to rival Saskatchewan.

I guess they were moose hunting and up there the seasons run concurrent. they followed his track and found him still bedded. One shot before he even got up.

Might of helpedif he run down from the rut and may have been that soft quiet snow but that is nice track, spot and stalk hunt story by the sounds of it.
