How good are your eyes?
 

Here's a picture my buddy took, on some land we hunt. There is a deer in the picture. How long does it take you to find the deer, without any help, or hints? Remember look for parts of the deer, and not the whole body. For a still-hunter and spot and stalk hunter, being able to find a deer in a scene like this isan importantkey to success.

I know my eyes are bad . I can't see it either.I have to wear trifocals and at dusk I may as well leave the woods. everything gets blurrie.

that pic/ is clear and durning the day,and I still can't fins a deer. I do see a monster by the big tree in the middle. see his eyes.:D:D:D[&:][&:]

From what I can tell in the picture, the deer looks to be a descent one, with around an 18" spread and 10-12" tines.

I see him now , but can't tell about the 10 , 12 tines and spread. I do see one long main beam,ears and eyes..
can't see the spread either.

Yeah, it's just a guess, with the frame, from the pictures. My buddy did get a good look at him though, and said he's an 8ptr, probably in the 120-130 class range.

Look to theleft and the closest tree to you look to the bottom left of it.You see to guys heads with eyes and a mustache to.

Well Reb to the bottom left of the red box is where I think I can see a doe looking at me but it could be my imagination

rebel, i think i see what you are refering to, but it only looks like half a deer. If oyu zoom in, the left side(the deers right) looks like a deer, but there is no right side of the deer, you can see the branches that would be behind it. The left side REALLY looks liek a deer, but if you look at where the right side should be, it isnt. What looks liek half the deer, i believe, is the tree behind it, and to the right of the tree doesnt look like a deer at all.

in the square i selected, I can see what looks like a deer's face, and the antlers sticking up above a dark tree branch.

i think if you zoom in to 200% you can see what i mean, if you ahve the image software to do so

I did it so quik I had to keep looking to be sure. Seemed too easy so I didn't believe I was right. I'd say 2 seconds.

I see a bunny and what might be a deer. Might be a dog or a bunch of weeds too. I even blew the picture up and messed with the color and exposure settings.

I normally wait for movement to ID things. I see lots of things I think are something when I'm out, but I wait to see if it moves first.

but reb, look closely at the right half of that deer, it kind of disappears along the edge of that tree behind it. Im pretty sure the deer's eye you are seeing is somehting on that tree.
