What is a good saw to use to cut the bone on a deer?

We have a large meat band saw that the butchers use as well as just a regualr hand meat saw. Both work good and makes the process super quick.

Did you ever try boning out your cuts? Works good and you eat everything in the package.

the only bone I cut , is the skull plate to remove the horns.all the rest I do with my knife.

if you've never boned a game animal vs just zipping it through the bandsaw... you won't believe the difference when it comes time to eat that critter... take the time to thoroughly trim all of your cuts to get rid of fat and membrane... even before making burger...

deer, elk, moose, etc are much different than steer...

If you're just butchering there's no reason to cut a bone, bone the meat off, disconnect legs at the knee joints with a knife.
