today was opening day of muzzleloader here in new jersey and i decided to hunt a large farm property i had been wroking at the past few weeks. Seen several 130-140 class bucks with a 150 hear and there. Lol yes i know your thinking, what, in new jersey? HA well its true... if i had a better camera i would take pics.... but yeah, heres a nice 7 i shot today with my muzzle loader... i stalked him for around 300 yards and got within 40, he was dogging a doe. Im pumped cause this isnt one of the bigger ones i have been hunting but one i couldnt pass up, point being that there are many more out there lol. Next week is 6 day firearm and then permit shotgun so we will see what that has to bring... when i shot the buck he was with another about the same size and on my way out i saw 4 more rutting in a far field similar and bigger to this !!!!

thats a definite hog, and Im not insulting your deer...but if you have been seeing many larger deer, why not try to fill your tags with them?? How many can you kill in NJ?? Lots of other hunters around you? Im sure u have a good reason.
