Default First DEER!

Hey hey, i got my first deer today...a button buck! antlers were about this big _____. second to last day of the season to, i thought for sure i wouldn't get squat. i've been out there 5 days outa 9 and not a single thing. so then today the landowners did a drive with about 20 other people and i was up in a stand. so after a few minutes i see legs going through the thicket and soon enough this doe (or so i thought) stepped out into the clearing at a slight jog. i got my gun up and the deer went straight down, clean kill. now say what you want about shooting button bucks, but im always thankful for any deer that i can shoot. more meat on the table. and dont worry, it was legal. i had a doe and a buck tag. so anyways, i'll try to get some pictures up soon!

CONGRATS!!! Nothing like your first deer. I doubt you'll ever forget it!!

And don't worry about it being a BB. They taste just as good. Heck, I'll admit it....I've taken 7 deer in my 6 years of hunting so far...and 2 of those deer are BB. I'm just as happy with them as any other deer.
