here is my first big buck. I hunted all day and got him 15 mins before dark. He chased a doe right up to about 30 yards from me. I was jumping up and down when I walked over to him. I am still happy and excited about it and I killed him 3 days ago.

he field dressed at 160. I never had a more of a tough time getting him into the back of the truck.

I just coverd it up. Today the guy that is mounting the head thinks that my deer was fighting with a bigger buck like a 12 pt. Which, I don't doubt. There were scratches all over my deer's face and two of the antlers are broken off. I am going to go back Tuesday andhunt all day again. Maybe I can rattle in a big one.

before I took him to the taxidermist today, i measure his spread and it was 18.5. I asked the guy if tha twas good and he said considering the area we live in, thats really good.
