I would be careful how many people you tell about killing it with a .22 It is against the law here in Texas to shot one with any type of rimfire.

.22 Hornet is a centerfire and is legal in Texas.

nice lookin buck Z, congrats!! I'd guess that for you to make a shot like that, you probably use a WB as a back sight on that hornet, kind of like a peep sight, huh!! Come on admit it, you do use a WB after all!!
