    Default is 00buck shot enough for deer
    i dont know if my 12 ga 00buck shot is enough for deer and hogs because i heard it is to week.

    It has worked real good for the deer I have shot.

    In my shot gun its all I use.

    Its a winchester model 1300.

    I have killed 15 deer and NUMEROUS hogs with 00 buck, and inside 40 yards in the brush, it is tough to beat. I shoot Remington or Federal 3" magnum 00 buck out of my Benelli M1 Super 90 with a 21" barrel and a Patternmaster choke. Personally, I have never had a deer or hog take a step after being hit.

    That might even be why they call it BUCK shot. I'm not sure, but it sounds good

    00 is good but copper plated 000 is even better just don't abuse either one.Shots should be under 50 yds for your best bet.
