well it is 6 pm here in KY just 5 day till rifle season i was wondering if anyone Else has the buck fever like me if you have had any luck and have you seen any good deer i seen a nice 8 point yesterday and a couple of does today

I agree. I don't know if hunting would be worthwhile if I didn't feel the rush of that monster in front of me... (or any deer of any size for that matter) Buck Fever happens to the best of us

Now if your talking about the fever that you get when you cant wait to get into the woods. All you do is dream about hunting and cant ever get it off your mind, then id say yes. I have that 24/7. Now the rush when you see deer, that includes what everyone says trembling, uncontrallable heart beat and shaking like a leaf in the wind, i dont get that. Im not sure why. My heart races after i see the deer go down but thats it.

Oh man, do I have it bad this year! Have been pouring over every deer hunting mag since Sept., but it's peaking now that the rut is on!
I only wish that it didn't have to end after I filled my tag this morning...

Buck fever, doe fever i get it all! Does a bear **** in the woods?

I call it "Deer Fever" and if I didn't get it; I wouldn't hunt nearly as often
(I hope they don't make a cure and tell my wife about it)

I watched my son go through it last year as he was about to take his first buck. Wow hope I don't look that twisted out of shape. Long story short he got over it and we got a freezer full of pepperoni.
