Go Black Powder 50 cal., in-line w/ scope. There pretty cheap and you probably have an early season. Not to mention there fun to shoot too!!

Two suggestions:

1. Marlin Model 336 in a .30-30, or
2. NEF Handi-rifle, pick your caliber

Both are hard to beat for low-cost deer slayers .....good luck!

look around, i got a brand new 30-30winchester (like 6 months old) for 100 bucks canadian!
or try and find a .303! great rifles!
