O.K. Here we go. Get this, my sweetie OFFERED to donate her stuff for me when I go hunting in a few weeks. My first question is how do I pull these things out of the bag they will be in? These things are not like those neat little wicks you can hang in the tree. Second, do I tie this damn thing to bush or tree? Third, How do you magically get these things to hang without touching them. Fourth, how many should I use? Fifth, should I chance this and hope not to puke by my site? Fifth, I'm confused on this one, but I know this works. Anyone got any advise?

What the heck? You are going to hang USED ones???

I know people who use ones with strings, tie the to a tree, but they are new ones, and they soak them with doe estrus or whatever scents. I use cottonballs myself.

Nope not me! I'm a die hard trophy buck hunter and I've been trying to kill a big one with my bow for going on 4 yrs. If you told me I could take a &quot;used&quot; one and put it under my stand and kill one tomorrow......I doubt I could do it!<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> As I sit here an think about it, I'm not sure I can think of anything worse than that!

My advice would be to get some of those latex glove's doctor's use. I put on two sets of them, a gas mask, a full chemical suit, and tie the the thing to a limb. Then I'd burn all the stuff I had on and take a bath in bleach. If you are still alive, go hunting. Gotta go I'm gonna puke.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

HOLD UP! WAHT IN THE HECK IS HAPPENING HERE?

I started off reading this post which dramaticly cought my attention.
At first it sounded like a petty good idea, a material that will hold the deer sent and a string to tie the (THING) to a branch.

I am confused here, may be I read it wrong, but... is this thing supposed to be a used one?

MAN! if so, I know that, invention is a nessesity for servival, but if you have to use one soaked in what I think your talking about.

I can think of another alternative.

Yep,Your right Im not gonna use anyone elses. I come from a long line of very fertile women, Heck they breed like rabbits, so I figure I have the goods.I learned the tampon trick from Judy Kovar at one of her seminars. I have not had a big buck come to one yet just a small fork horn.I prefer to use the ones with the built in stringe and I use freezer baggies for some and use others as just a scent wick.Im going to try to experiment with them a bit more this year using ovulation time and cycle time and see what kind of results I get on the two different scent times. I tie them about 5ft from the ground on a twig or branch in a spot that will alow me to take full advantage of the wind, use gloves, it cant really be anyworse to ya than using urine from a deer or field dressing a deer, I think its all in how you look at it (or dont look at it)<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>
