Default Judging size of doe

How do you judge the size of a doe, especially at a distance and traveling by itself.

I never shoot an antlerless deer by itself. Often these deer are button bucks. Always wait for more than one deer to present itself, and then make a harvest decision.

Look for buttons and shoot the heifer. If I am specificallydoe hunting, a doe is a doe, and size is irrelevent.

Wait for 3 to show up and take the biggest. A lone deer is difficult to guess especially at a distance.

I very rarely shoot at a doe by itself. I have a hard time telling how big it is. I like to be able to judge it with a couple of others.

that's the best way to do it. it's alot better to wait until there are others to compare it to.
