Mollasses does work great. Some rock salt nearby is also a good thing. I put it down in stumpholes and it attracts deer as much as the corn does.
Good luck!
p.s. When all the corn that you have put out gets eaten or sprouts, just try 50 lbs at a time in the areas. That way the deer will run out occassionally. I accuse my deer of "hearing the bag rattle" when I put out corn because they show up within 30 minutes of me putting it out.

I remember back when there was no limit on baiting in WI, we used to put manure spreader loads of corn at each stand just before gun season. It was awsome. But now theres a 2 gal. limit on baiting per 40 acresin most of the state and other parts its prohibited. Id saydont put so much out. Deer, especially mature bucks will become noctornal in a heart beat if they know that theres that much feed for them. Limit it to 5-10 gallons per site.

I have a friend in the Poconos in PA who feeds the deer a large coffee can of corn everyday. When he puts the corn out he bangs the can on tree nearby. The deer come running to the dinner bell!! LOL!!
