and for a healthier deer herd. we have multiple food plots on our land that a deer can choose from, so it is much less of an attractant

imho ..yes... why are you making the food plots in the first place ?... not because you ain't got nothing better to do...

we can go around all day long and telling there's a difference between the two...sure there is , i can agree with that , but the end result and the reason why is still going to be the same...

sure you can also bring up the argument of "managing the herd" , so why would you want to "manage" the herd ?...to get better/stronger deer ?..and for what reason again ?... to hunt them right ?

so in the end it's still the same outcome... you do it for the hunt... so why should it be different ?
