I have a friend that had some cowboy boots from a deer hide. They are pretty nice actually. He does need to put something in them when he is not wearing them because the top part will fall over. They are a bit soft. No problems when he is wearing them though. He said the are very comfortable and they look nice too.

I'm sure it would be no different than snake skin or somethin else.

I don't remember what he said it cost to have them made, but I'm sure for what he paid you could just go buy some nice boots. However they would not be made from a deer you shot.
