If your soaked...good for the deer
If your dressed right...bad for deer

Rain dulls the deers sense of smell and hearing
Rain dulls the hunters sense of awakedness and alertness

Definately good, the deer will move no matter what, althought your best bet would be in a ravine or valley,, in out of the weather. When things are wet the noise is at a minimum, which can also make for a good stalk.

My experience is similiar to most. Our deer like to move around in a mist, but a hard rain will shut them down. During gun season, I love to hunt when its snowing, a light snow seems to really pick things up. Also, after a good rain or a good 6"+ snow our deer really get up and running.
