Smoky Mountain Fried Squirell
I don't know if any of you like squirell or not, but here is a good recipe.
[ol][*]2 squirrels, young, cleaned, and cut up.[*]1/2 cup flour[*]1/2 teaspoon salt[*]1/2 teaspoon black pepper[*]4 tablespoons cooking oil[*]1/2 cup water[*]1 onion, medium, chopped[*]3 carrots, quartered [/ol] Mix flour, season, salt, and pepper. Predge meat. Heat cooking oil over medium heat in dutch oven. Fry until golden brown. Reduce heat. Add water, onions, and carrots. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Hope y'all enjoy!!!!!!!!!! OFTK |
