Default How do you count points?
My buddies and I spotted a big forky with about 8 does on a fishing trip to the High Sierras last weekend. I refered to him as a four pointer and one of the guys said "Out west we count one side" so according to him it was a 2 pointer.

How do you guys count points and where do you live?

Has this been a topic of debate before?

Yeah, it has been hashed acouple of times in the past. It seems it is just an area preference. Some people don't count brow tines. Some say you have to hang a ring on a point and some say a minimum of an inch. I count all of them.
