FL/GA HUNTER is right....Rain is your friend.. deer cant see, hear, or smell as good in RAIN...After a hard rain the deer will be out ...stay dry and stay in the hunt

While I would rather nice weather, I will take the rain any day. I think still hunting is a great option. You can approach bedding areas from downwind pretty undetected.

Hunting in the rain is alright so get out there and be safe. Good luck.

Just make sure you bring your rain gear and if you will be on stand, try a tree umbrella. It's a 2-3 minute pain in the butt to hook up to the tree, but once it's up, you can basically hunt all day in the rain without getting wet! I have used mine about 12 times in the past few years from rain to sleet to snow...and have loved every minute of it because it keeps you dry and you can stay in the woods longer.

Later.
