Which do yall prefer to hunt with. I have been considering getting a bolt action but then again a semi auto would be very nice. I currently hunt with a marlin 30-30 lever action. I'm just taking a poll to see which do you prefer?

Bolt action...over ANYTHING else. That's not to say, that's all I have...

i've never hunted with a semiauto so out of the two i'll go with the bolt. i do alot of hunting with a lever action but really like the looks and performance of the bolt. i like my lever gun for close in, fast action, and repeat shots.

Bolt action, just too many things can go wrong with the auto.

Bolt, you probably aren't going to get a quick second shot. Take your time and you won't need it anyway.

The bolt is more reliable and on average more accurate.

I like a bolt over a semi any day .

One more vote for the bolt - accuracy can be an issue too - although its been said already but I will repeat - take your time with the first shot and the 2nd might not be needed

I like my Remington 700 bolt action because of it's simplicity and accuracy.
