Personally, those devices seem kinda dumb to me. I mean, wouldn't you be picking up every friggen squirrel and bird?? How are you supposed to know?? If you ask me, I think it's a big waste of $$$.

From what I understand, they work great at picking up trees, brush, and wandering gnomes. Don't think I've heard anyone who was happy with one. I'd rather rely on my own sharp senses anyway to alert me to deer slipping in. Kind of helps keep the "hunt" in hunting and my senses don't require batteries.

Keep us up to date on that, heat seeker. I personally would not have bought one. For me it would take out of the whole experience, I have also heard to many negatives about them. Next thing they will have is automatic mechines that will located the deer bring them in and shoot them. I do hope that you find it to be worth your money.
Good Luck!
