I have seen bucks come to the scent and put there nose directly into the film canister that the tinks was poured into. I've never had a monster buck come in to the scent, but small 8 pts. and younger have come to it on several occasions. If it's been in the refrigerator unopened then I think that it should be fine.

It works for me & yes the deer come right up to it & smell it...was the last thing a doe smelt last season!!!!!!!!! Refrigerate it, hell it just goes back into the box in the closet with the rest of my deer hunting 'toys' as my wife calls them..........

Never had any luck with it. Tried it numours of times over the many years I have hunted. Used it both in Michigan and Alabama with no success at all. All I can say it ever did was spook deer. I have seen them run like scared cats when they got a whif of this. Thought it was a fluke but it had happend many other times as well.
Now I know about time of year to use it and stuff like that. I know about wind direction and all that stuff. Masking human scent. It just never worked for me.
Any scent that I have seen work, that truly attracted a buck (mature buck) was used in conjunction with a decoy.
