RE: Wow..my jaw is still on the floor
I just got off the phone with my uncle who basically lives a mile or so away across this big valley. He described a buck he saw a couple of weeks ago in his beans that fit the description of the one i saw to a T. The valley has a road running down the middle of it, with woods/pasture/somefields up to the road on either side. I think the buck travels between both, using whatever fields he's comfortable with. I'm not going to specfically hunt for him unless I get some pictures or more proof that he uses the area with some regularity. Our land isn't hunted with a gun(a rarityin thisarea), I hardly ever bowhunt near where i saw him,and is fairly thick, leading me to believe he's on my side of the road on a regular basis. I bought another Cuddeback, and when i check it in a week or 5 days, I'll get those pics up.
ooh, and even better, my uncle says the big guy he saw had two hombres in tow, both in the 130-140" range.
