RE: A Little Gloating!
Why? They're just Canadian mini-mes!:) Btw, when I'm done in S. Carolina, then Georgia, and then Alabama until January 31st, I probably would have time to sqeeze in a hunt or 2 in your region. I'd hate for you to have to handle all that rugged terrain alone.NO need to thank me, I'm just that kind of guy!

RE: A Little Gloating!
Lets see here, S. Carolina, August, 90 plus degrees. I suggest that you pack a big can of deet and plan on short hunts. Hope the camp has A/C and a frig full of cold ones. Good luck Bro

It might be hot but at least it’s still hunting. Make sure you cool the meat and best of luck.

RE: A Little Gloating!
I don't hunt mulies until Nov. Its a long time but there won't be any worry by then about insects or keeping the meat cool.;)It was 20 below one morning last season. (Late season.)

RE: A Little Gloating!
DD I hunt the west part of the province along the B.C. border(358,359)for elk and moose in September, near Edson (338) in november for elk and whitetail, the south part of the province (150)in november for mules and east of Edmonton(230's) for whitetails in november.I also hunt other special areas for deer, moose and pronghorns when I draw tags.I live up north in the 500 zones but I only hunt black bear in this area.
|
RE: A Little Gloating!
Believe it or not, we have black bear here in N. Georgia as well. There not as plentiful, but they're here. I have only taken 1, but considering there's only about 200 a year taken in the state, I don't think that's too bad for hunting them for only a coulpe of years.
