How to carry all the Junk
After years of listening to other hunters. How in the Hay do you all get all the stuff and gadgets in to the stand. I added up the stuff you all say you use and it would double your body weight. You would neeed a elevator to get in a tree. You must take out a home owners loan every year to buy it all.

All you really need is a set of those little two way radios.
Just call back and have your wife bring it out when you need something.

I have learned to keep my daypack contents to a minimum from having to walk a mile or two into and out of a cypress swamp. Other than my climber, I think that the heaviest thing I carry is a 2 liter bladder full of water. Knife , flashlight, GPS and extra batteries are most of the rest. TP, twineand plastic bags don't weigh very much.

They use a 30ft rope. They tie it to the stand and then to all the stuff on the
ground. Start climbing and when at the top, start pulling all the junk up.

I don't hunt in a stand much anymore. I carry my essentials which includes a compass, gps, LRF, radio, calls, license, ammo, knife, trail marker, electrical tape, first aid ziploc, water, snacks & extra clothes (mitts, gloves, hat, light weight fleece pull over, change of socks& hot hands) in expandable fanny day pack that has the shoulder harness. This allows me if need be to carry more weight without feeling as fatigued. My binos are held with bino buddies, the best fewbucks a hunter can spend if on the move IMO.
I often leave my truck in darkness only to return in the same manner, so being prepared for everything the Saskatchewan climate and any hunt can throw goes a long way to making a day trip possible, enjoyable and productive.
If I am just evening or am hunting a belt and suit with some pockets will suffice for all I need to carry.
Oh crap I forgot the most important thing to a comfortable hunt ---TP[]! Like AMEX "Never Leave Home Without IT!"
