Two friends of mine were successful on the opening weekend. They were 20 yards apart and the 10 pointer actually was closer to the one video taping. The action was perfect. You don't get to see the entry of the arrow but you do see it exit, but of course it is all a blur.
I tryed it with another friend but the two doe and three fawn were behind trees.

I take the video-camera everytime I go hunting. I got a buddy with a gun kill last year, an after the fact coyote kill track, and a turkey bow miss. I was shooting the camera everytime or more animals would have died. It's a rush though...I love making homemade hunting videos.

Yep, and it is way harder to video than to hunt! I have a couple of decent kill shots that I filmed myself, but you can`t follow the animal in. You just gotta wait for them to step in front of the camera. I always have a camcorder in the treestand with me, but I don`t have the fortitude to only shoot if its on film. The last two years I have taken P&Y bucks, but I shot them both before they got in front of the camera. You can hear the bow going off!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

We try to video all of our hunts...it's hard to do deer hunts though. We have caribou, grizzly, black bear, moose, elk, and soon to be polar bear hunts on film. They are really enjoyable to watch come hunting season.

I have a spring turkey kill on tape. I pretty much only carry the camera in the spring now. It is addicting. Haven't decided to give up the bow yet and only carry the camera in the fall.
Big Country, I live in Butler county and hunt a lot of Westmoreland with my Dad. Any chance you want to post the pictures of your 2 big guys, would love to see them. Did you get them around New Stanton???
