Default North American Whitetail

When does the July issue come out? I've been looking all over and nobody seems to have it. Am I too early or too late?

I think it usually hits newstands in mid July so it should be any day. If you subscribe you'll usually get it about 2 weeks earlier.

Thanks guys. I'll keep looking for it. The cover story is a must have for a Pennsylvania hunter.

You mean the cover story about Chris Jones and the 197" that he called Big Mo? That buck was shot within minutes of my house and I would love to have a copy. Can't find any North American Whitetail at any of the local stores.

This issue came out about two weeks ago. This is one of the magazines that I work on, if you'd like I can send you a copy. Just email me your info.

No. In special regulation areas (like where this buck was shot) you can use a crossbow during any deer season. In the rest of the state the average hunter can only use a crossbow during any firearms deer season with the proper tags but not the early archery season....with the exception of disabled hunters.

Darn nice buck is what it is. I remember reading about it in the local paper several months ago as well as on the huntingpa.com forums.
