I wanted to do a poll but guess I'm not allowed...

Just curious what everyone thinks about hunting from one of these:

Personally I'm 100% against it and any other hunting from a vehicle. Looks like something you'd see in one of those emails with a caption below it that reads: "Redneck Hunting Blind".

What do you think of it? Would you hunt from it?

I think the deer around here would laugh at you from 400 yards away.


I used to know a guy who had something similar to that. It was a blind mounted on a trailer and had hydraulic lifts. But, he was confined to a wheel chair.

You wouldn't catch me in one, simply because most of the time you only see them on ranches with fences!!!

I wouldnt but i am sure someone with more money than sense would!!!!

That aint nothing, my buddy hunts a ranch in west texas thats about 60 miles by 60 miles. they build trucks and jeeps similiar to that but your able to drive them from up top. theres no other way to hunt this place. Its kinds of desert like, you wouldnt see a deer any other way. They hunt from sun up to sun down covering many many miles. Just to get a deer. Its not as easy as you think, and shots can range 4 or 500 yds.

They need the truck to carry all the bait and then to run them up in the corner of a fence. Then they plug in the spotlight shoot.

I shoot from a wheelchair sometimes.I have a permit to hunt from a vehicle.But never did yet.But as my physical condition worsens I will have to in some cases

Can't say until I've tried it and that aint likely, but if I did I'd be slow to mention it.
