I think the pop may be pretty stable though in the recent I'd say...30 years, it's grown tremendously due to game management.

This CWD thing may hurt the population of deer in some a bunch of states. It's some pretty bad crap.

I live in calif, so I say its worse than in years past. to many politians and politics .this state really needs some one to take over our game management. They passed a law so we cant hunt mountain lions, which has devastated our deer herd. also calif hasnt had a real doe hunt since 1957. they say our buck to doe ratio is 11 to one but thats B/S, its about 30 to one. ive been on hunts and counted 75 does and not a single buck..
