It's an attractive rack, nice symmetry (minus one brow tine), decent mass, and cool coloration. I would characterize it slightly above average (compared to what the common muley hunter brings home) for those reasons. I would also contend the 'average' muley to be a straight 4-point (western count) with less mass/coloration.

Average is kind of a hard word to describe for anything. You have to take into account where it was shot, and what size deer are killed in that area on a regular basis. I would guess about 140" or so. (I thought that initially before looking at the post with the score). In the areas I hunt, I would be hard pressed to pass on that buck. It would probably be above average in the areas I hunt, but could easily be topped with a little work (I have seen some BIGGGG deer where I hunt).
