Got my first tom today with me bow!!! Stalked it for a hour on my hands and knees in a blueberry field. 10" beard, 1" spurs, and around 23 pounds. What an experience!!!!!

Man that is something! Small target and very wary bird! How far away were you when you shot it?

I got in 35 yards before getting busted. This tom happened to be struting with his back to me which gave me the extra second I needed. I will never forget this hunt! I work hard for this bird, my knees are reminding me of that this morning......LOL!
