Starting off the 2010 target season right!
Well, the 2010 indoor season anyway. Shot our first indoor ASA paper target format today and it was quite interesting and fun! The timing aspect was certainly a big factor and could get in your head quickly (at least for me)! Only shot 40 arrows but felt whooped afterwards because of the mental anguish of the clock ticking in the back of my mind.
I did manage to continue to represent WKP well........and shot my first ever perfect score, a 440 out of 440 possible!!! Second place was 378. I will have to admit that I had a few lucky shots fall for me, which never hurts. This was also my first shoot with "open" equipment, so I am glad that went well to boost my confidence in leaving the "hunter" equipment behind.
I hope to be able to continue the push throughout 2010!!!
Since I can't down the big boys like you guys can, at least I can sling the arrows and keep them in the X!!!

Guys are saying it is awesome, comparing it to the smoothnest of the new Bowtech and speed of the new matthews z7. I was a little weiry about the the 6 inch brace hieght but guys are saying it doesn't matter with the judge. Guys are claiming they are shooting 60# at 28 inch draws with a little lighter arrow and getting speeds of 300 with it which is what I am looking for this year,I am going to a 60# bow..Walt
