Default Hit lists!! Lets start posting pics!!

I imagine some of you are starting to compile trail cam pics of what deer you are interested in. Well those of you that live in Iowa! lol.. Here in Michigan I haven't gotten too much in the way of mature bucks but have gotten a couple pics of some nicer ones.. Can't tell if this is the same buck as the picture is almost a month apart. I have only gotten two pics of bucks from this cam in the same location and will be moving it sometime this week:

This first giant 8 is a buck we have given the name "Mississippi" We are think he is just about as wide as...

The one buck from early this year is a buck I have that match set to on his head there and have yet to get a trail-cam photo but have seen him twice in a bean field near my property.

Here is a couple pics of bucks on the farm I am hunting this year.

The buck in the back ground of these next 2 pics I call Big Natural, he wont show up on camera by himself and has been hidden in the pics I have got. He is a main frame 8 w/ some junk on his brows. He looks to be #1 on the list, filmed him in mid June and looked to push 140's already! The other bucks in the pic are Tech9 & Strait 8.

This young buck looks like he could blow up into a complete monster in the next few years. I can't tell if it is a 2nd main beam or just a really funky g2 on the one side....Let me know what you think?

This guy is who I call Junkyard, looks like a big mature bodied deer with a very odd rack. He also has a serious goider growing off of his chin, its not just the crappie moultrie cam he had it in every pic. He will have his lungs deflated if given the chance.

The last one is a guy we call Tech9, he looks to need another year or 2 in order to meet full potential. Let me know what you think!

Monroe County...It is a blessing and pain in the ass at the same time. Almost all of the primo land is locked up and then all the remaining land gets multiple hunters. Tough to find a solid piece as the common guy without big $$'s to throw around.

I talked to the land owner about this land and he 1st mentioned that my brother and I had sole hunting rights and I was pumped. Scout it and I find multiple tree stands and salt blocks, so I go back and talk to him and then he remembers there are some other guys he also told to hunt it.

Oh well, I will just show up early and hopefully he wont bother coming in to hunt when he sees I am already there. Just bought a GL2 this year so my brother and I plan on hittin' hard this season.

How is the land access up around Norwalk? Do the Des Moines big wigs have it all locked up?

I feel your pain on landing good ground. I'm leasing and living on 125 acres this year in Norwalk right on the North river that I found out very quickly is prime. My buddy and I are also going to out with the GL2 this fall trying to put together some good stuff. We will be hunting 3 farms around this area, and have been very fortunate to land some nice properties in the area because like you said the big wigs have it locked up for the most part. It's nice being from this area and knowing people, but if a guy was to come into this area blind he would be hard to pull any private land.

I shot that big one November 07. I figure I now have one over 200 inches and my other two larger deer are in the 140's so There is a good 60 inches in between there to feel in with some nice deer. I like looking at it that way instead of "I WILL NEVER SHOOT A BIGGER BUCK THEN I ALREADY HAVE" haha
