This post topic was just a bad idea.

One thing I've noticed about both Iowa and Illinois - TONS of ticks. I usually expect to pull a minimum of 1 or 2 off my body everytime I go into the field. I do 3 tick checks a day to just make sure!
u forgot missouri, its terrible here, i found ovaer 10 on me today after jus goin and settin one double stand and getting our 4 cuddebacks up and running.....sadly, 2 of them were under water completely by a flash flood we had a few weeks ago where it rained 8 in. in just 4 hours

Don't leave out NY, man the tick's can be wicked here. I was out with the pooches the other nigth swapping trail cams cards out and they came back with a half dozen on each and i had one on the back of the neck. Something about them really gives me the skeevies for sure.

Ticks are easy, down here below the Mason/Dixon Line we have mosquitoes that will carry a youngster away!
