Who all from MI teams are heading to IL again for late season hunts??? Were trying to put together a trip for between the holidays. Got to keep tryin. Id love to see the double drop again but even if I werent able to get a hot at him Id atleast know he made it thru the gun seasons. I hate not knowing if hes been killed.

I hope that he made it through for you. IL still has 5 more days of gun season
Sat and sunday, and next weekend Muzzleoader only season

Jay - we're putting a weekend together between the holidays as well. Let's touch base in the next few weeks and see if we can't meet up.

In the meantime, I'll be out in the COLD tomorrow morning!

Hunted this morning in the freezing rain. I killed a doe and so did Austin. We did see the booner but way to far out to get any footage of him, we attempted astalk across a corn field with no luck

Mikey and I were planning a trip for after the first of the year.
How about Jan 11 to the 14th? Make it a four day weekend. I have never hunted deer after Jan. 1st. The second week of January, It's to the point we could either hunt for them on the hoof or walk for their sheds isn't it?

Saw this guy Sat morning but was too far for a shot, and didn't give a hoot about the grunt call.

Sat night I froze my butt off in the ice storm and saw one 1 1/2 and that was it.

Sunday it rained pretty much all day so I did some x-mas shopping, watched football, and cleaned up the house. :D
