The reason we are finding the sign we are finding right now has to do with the number of acorns in these particular locations. If you aren't on the acorns, you aren't on the deer!

That's a heckuva rub, Todd!!

On a side note... do you use four sticks? I thought so, but can't quite tell in the pics...

WOW, I didn't know they had ELK in Iowa.AWESOME RUBS!!

My woods is full of acorns in IL. Maybe too many, the deer don't have to move to find them. TOO much of a good thing can be a bad thing.[&:]

Awesome rub! Hope you get him.

I've been hunting some acorn covered ground. So far all it seems to be getting me is surround sound squirrel noise. Too many acorns, too many squirrels, too many other hunters, not enough deer. [&:]

Kyle and I have recently scouted the draw where I killed my buck last year. Can you say "double shredder action"? I'm praying to god that the buck I passed is back - if he is, he will be a flaming typical stud! Judging by the sign in the area, it's a pig!

Rain rules for scouting and sucks for hunting! Take advantage of it while we have it though!
