Got me a new trail camera.
All right guys and Gals. I know I posted this on the Kisky site, but I wanted to share it here also.
Hey Guys and Gals,
Went out last Fri and bought a moultrie I-40 trail camera.
Just wanted to show you what this camera does. I had it out for 2 days and this thing is the cats meow!
The video from the daytime is really good for what the camera is, and the night time isn't too bad either. Maybe a little too much infared lighting, but it's not to bad. After every video, it takes a 4.0 mp still shot also. I thought that was pretty cool. It takes up to 30 sec. video clips during the day, but only takes 5 second video clips at night. I'm not sure why it's only that long at night. Maybe because of the power drain using the infared lights on it.
Heres a still shot.

Here's a daytime video. Just click on the picture.
Here's a night time video
Here's a night time still.
Just thought I would show you how it works. So far mine has worked perfectly. But I've only had it less than a week. 17- 30 second video clips so far and 99% battery power left. Not bad!!!!

RE: Got me a new trail camera.
I saw the pics on kisky. they don't look to bad. It looked like one might have been a little washed out in the video end. Did you get anynightime stills that were badly washed out? Were the pics pretty consistent? and how was your battery life?
The daytime stuff looks awesome and so does the one nightime still. Especially for $200.

Tyler,
No washouts at all with the nite time stills, unless they were right up close to the camera. The infared lights are too strong for the close up pics, but when they were 15 or so feet away, the pictures turned out pretty good. I'm really happy with the camera. I love the quality of the daytime video. For the price you can't beat it. I still had 17 - 30 second video clips on it and the batterys still showed 99% power. !!! I'm going out now to put it back out. Had to do some camo taping of it today.
Take care Buddy!!!!

RE: Got me a new trail camera.
Jason,
I went to Bass Pro Shop in Gurnee,Illinois. From what Cream said off the Kisky site, you can get them for $179 if You order them thru http://www.natchezss.com/. I paid $219. But I needed to have it in hand right then and there. So it was worth the extra$ I paid. Soon as I save a little more, I'm going to order 2 more or them thru http://www.natchezss.com/.
