Default Woman in need of hunting partner

There is a gal at work who has split with her boyfriend who got her into hunting. She is worried that she will not hunt this year. Are there any women in the Boise area who might be affiliated with Women in Hunting programs. She killed a deer and a bear last year and has found a passion for hunting. She has asked me if there are any women that I know who might want to go hunting with her? Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know if there is a local chapter in Boise, but the National Wild Turkey Federation has a Women in the Outdoors program that may be a good way to meet other women hunters. This would be a good network. She may also look into the RMEF.

I don't think that she is ready to move that far but I will pass it on.

Tell her to put an add in the paper. I suggest it sound something like this.
Wanted one big strong man, must be willing to pack out my elk, deer & bear every year.
Send pictures of fishing rods, hunting rifles/shotguns, pack boards & bird dog to this address.

I do hope she finds a nice guy that loves to hunt. We need more women hunters. I know my wife lives for hunting & fishing.

Why don't you blind date her with my brother? At least they would have that much in common!!

I'm in Idaho up north of her. I'll take her hunting or at least point her in the right direction. All my friends have quit they aren't tough enough (mentally or physically) apparently. I'd love to hunt with someone as enthusiastic as I am which it sounds like she is. Good luck.
