I'm ready but Mt St Helens has put a wrinkle in the plans.
Don't know where I'm going...just know I'm going somewhere.

Ya, should be good if some cold weather comes in. looks like its calling for the same weather in yakima so the second weekend here should be good. Ya that 300 is my new elk gun.

That 300 is a great rifle I shoot one two for my deer rifle 165 grain handloads make em real hot real accurate and flat shooting perfect for that eastern wa stuff.

Good luck to all of you this weekend, I don't think I'll get out, although wild hairs have been known to bite me here and there.
I was drawn for a SP in NE Wa. that gives us 2 deer tags apiece (#2 MUST BE A DOE) and the best hunt is usually the late hunt.
Have some health issues in the home here and still have responsibilities to get taken care of before I can head out, but I am still chomping on the bit! how ironic- one of them is getting a horse moved to my sisters place because the little woman is under the weather and can't feed it while I'm gone.
If nothing else we might get a trailer up to the Brewton area of the Colockum for M/R elk!!
Once again...........GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
