Default Wayne1 - remember that young moose

Wayne,

remember that young spike moose that "charged" us at Albie last year - - - - Well, we saw him up there last Wednesday. He was browsing in the pond - we were up on the road and watched him for 5+ minutes. Casey and I got out of the rig and he put on another "charge" -- but this time, he stopped short and went around us from the rear (toward town).

Last year he was a spike, and this year he is getting small/medium paddles -- but the spread is HUGE ! Give him another 2-3 years and he'll be a real trophy

Of course --------- NOT I had just taken a pic of Casey and the camera was on my computer desk - just where I had left it after loading the pic of Casey into the 'puter. [:@]

Hey Wayne --- If ya might want a purty Yelar dawg about April or so, let me know -- Casey MIGHT be "having" a girlfriend in December or so[8D]

Breeding in Decemer = pups in February
Pups in February = ready to go home in April

And the female points ! ! !

Actually, I'm not sure -- it would be up to the owner of the female. In today's market (a GLUT of decent Labs on the market and the fact that neither dog has been bred before), I'd guess that tyey will go for between $500 and $600. In a good (average) market, they would be worth $800+ --- it's a buyer's market for sure.
