Wish I could've been there this morning! I was sure proud of my boy.....they only get bigger from here. Wayne, I'll have to give you the other half of the story on the "sniper vs. lil sad daddy" b/c they only told you their end of the story...............next Sun. morning be prepared for me to drive up with "Big Ol' Sad Daddy" for you to take pics & post. Laura is still kicking herself pretty hard over missing the shot, but she's hanging in there like a trooper. My neck is still killing me.......don't think I'll go into wait them suckers out mode again anytime soon, I had gotten to the point where something was going down no if's and's or but's about it. Hope Pointshoot had a good WE gonna go look for his pic, it was nice getting to meet him, real nice guy.
Anywho as you can tell we made it home safely, have a good one!

Bldhound- - - nice job for the hunter & the call ! Your call sure sounds great. I noticed through several days of hunting with Wayne
that he seemed to spend a lot of time using your call over all his others. And when he wanted to get nice quiet
purrs when the birds were in close, your call was especially nice. - - - I didn't get to meet Laura but I can relate to
missing a shot ! 3 years ago I blasted away at a bird that was on a downslope from me that was waaay too far
away. Now, everytime we go hunt that area I shake my head and wonder what the heck I was thinking when I
pulled the trigger. Nice meeting you. Good Hunting!, - - - Pointshoot

Pointshoot,

Thanks for the compliment, when we make our calls it's a individual call that we're making.......not a production line. It really makes us (Slee & myself) feel good when people tell us how much they enjoy our calls. With all the feedback we're getting it's nice to know that the turkeys think our calls sound just as nice as you do. Wayne wasn't to sure at first when he started playing with his call until he took a conditioning stone across it a few times........I think it would be safe to say that he kinda likes it now.
The reason it hit her so hard is that was the first time in her life that she has missed anything, Slee & I told her she was long over due, so now that it's out of her system, lets get down to business! That's why it's called hunting instead of killing.
Nice meeting you as well & good luck to you in you adventures as well!

Bldhound - - - So how much for one of your calls ? What kinda strikers (if any) does it come with ? Wayne used a Primos acrylic type
and it sounded very nice. Are there any calls available now ?- - - Pointshoot

Ya Bldhound, I got the same question as Pointshoot, I might be interested in one also, what's the cost on one? Nothing like having a call that a lot of others don't(at least be one of the first)

Pointshoot & Trapper T,

Shoot me a email & we'll talk about it there. I haven't cleared it through hunting.net to talk about my calls on here about prices, no disrespect to you guys. I just don't want to get kicked off of here.........................I'm actually getting used to you guys!

I find out here in a few minutes if I'm taking off to Addy tonight or tommorrow night so if you don't hear from me in a day or so know that I'm over there!!!
Sad Daddy has to die this weekend, he already causes me loss of sleep now it's affecting my eating............yall know me that crap aint gonna go on very long at all(thus he's got to go)!!!!!
