When I was 12 years old my dad gave me a brand new 30\30 model 94 winchester rifle. He took me deer hunting and I shot my first deer, a big doe. I also shot my first elk with it too. I still have the rifle and will never get rid of it as it has so much sentimental value to me. I take it out of the gun case and clean it once in a while and it brings back the old memories, especially that first deer and my first elk with my dad by my side.

My first Deer Rifle was a Browning BLR model 81 in 243 win. I bought it my 8th grade year working odd jobs. I took my first 5 blacktail with it. I have moved on to other rifles, but I hope one day my son will use the same rifle to take his first deer.
