Last year in those units, the DOW held a late season after the general rifle season, for those who did not harvest an animal. This year they voted against having that late hunt. Those units have a lot of game but if theres no snow its tough to find them. Have you done well in those areas?

The late season that I am refering to was held after the 4th season, and was designed to thin out the herd in those units. The DOW decided to drop that season for whatever reason in 2003. But you can still hunt in those areas 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th season. I've had the most luck in those areas either during the 1st season when the game hasn't been spooked that much, or in the 4th season when the migration starts, snow can make or break the late season hunt.
