Default Shed hunter bear attack

Looking for sheds is not always risk free. This fellow found a grizzly bear in a bad mood.

here is the klink again too, as one above didn;t take me to it, had to find it !

but bear attacks are still rare, but they can happen where bears live, ,. as always, folks in bear area's should be bear aware and know some basic's to stay safe, sounds, like this guy knew too, but was just unlucky

they didn't say if it was a male or female bear, so be interesting to know if they find out! as one could be protecting cubs and got too close un knowingly
and well a male coming out of hibernation, are two different scenario's IMO!
both can be bad, but is a difference to the why maybe!

and sure was good thing he had a sat phone with him(as I gather he had knowing the risks of the area)

Wow that will really mess up your day! Good thing he had a good communication device. Praise the Lord he survived and sounds like he should recover.
