Need advice!
I won the supterag for Antelope in Montana this year and the land I was going to hunt on during the start of the rifle season fell through, so I'm back to researching and running out of time to line up a great hunt.
I've got mixed answers from biologists and guides about population and trophy quality in different districts. Everybody's pointing me somewhere else, so I figure I'd reach out to anybody who's maybe been out during archery season this year or is otherwise familiar with the herds this season?
If you could hunt anywhere in Montana for trophy antelope, where would you end up? Anybody know any good contacts/landowners? I'm looking for an unguided hunt, but wouldn't mind paying a trespass fee for access to good bucks.

Congrats on the tag, I see your from Kalispell on the FWP website. I havent been bow hunting for antleope, but I have saw some dandy's around Harlowton. I drive down to the ranch I hunt near Big Timber from Glasgow, and that area seems to have some nice goats, not sure on access though, can't imagine it would be too tough though. Good luck!
