Good luck to all you guys(and gals) that are heading out in the next few days or so. I' m heading to CO in just over a month for my first elk hunt. I can' t wait!

Yajsab - good luck - I hope you do well. I am heading out Tuesday afterwork - I will be doing the archery thing up in Manastash. No bull tag - didn' t get drwan but oh well - hopefully I will see something.

I' m heading out Fri. Morn for Missoula for my first hunt the rut Elk hunt. I like my bow to carry a little more fire power and a little distance to my lead arrows GOOD LUCK TO ALL

I' m back from my two days hunt. I didn' t get a shooter, although I did see some on Tuesday. Not much on Monday. I guess the elks are spooked by the deer hunters over the weekend. I' m looking forward to my second trip this weekend. Good luck again and tell us how you did. Hunt safe!

Yajsab, I see two 6pt bulls up behind whistling jacks friday morning and 2 spikes. Both from the inside of my truck.
