Colorado Unit 65
New to the forum here.
Me and a friend are planning a trip to unit 65 the first week of archery season. We are planning on hunting south of silverjack reservoir. We have never hunted elk before so shooting anything on this trip will be a bonus. First we haven't decided if we are gonna camp off the roads (don't exactly know the rules yet either) or stay at silverjack campground and drive from there. Second is this area pressured alot? Third are there elk even in this area and how much is private ground? From the looks of the USFS atlas map it didn't show that it was private at all.
