I am looking at a 2013 Montana spring gobbler hunt in Custer County. I read some reports that the turkey population is way down due to multiple hard winters/springs. One report I read stated that gobblers are down almost 30% and hens 40%. Can anyone confirm how they did in Custer County in 2012 and the turkey population? I would hate to spend a bunch of money to fly from PA to MT and not have a reasonable chance at success.
