As per your request summit d:

James Zielasko
15211 167th ave. NE
Arlington Wa. 98223

Colville National foerst
Meeting Ausgust 13 1003
Letter to Address forum:

Respectfully, to meeting organizers;
My name is Jim Zielasko and I am writing this statement in regard to
the subject of this meeting. being that I reside in Arlington-a 6 hour
trip to Newport, and have an appointment at 2 pm. 8-13,meaning I can' t
get there in time.
I am an outdoor recreationalist in many ways. I am a hunter of 36
years (paying customer of WDFW),snowmobiler (member Snowest)of 20
years, orv.rider off and on for 30 years, and gnerally like to explore
the numerous National Forests of Washington (Sightseeing, woodcutting,
Christmas tree hunting (with PERMIT) Etc.) Now my girlfriend has
arthritis and the ONLY way we can get to these places is by motor
vehicle, which is where we get to the point of this meeting -
ACCESIBILITY!
These roads have been accessible for Years, and need to be for years
to come. why should we DENY future generations what we have enjoyed
forever? There are plenty of wilderness areas in this state for the
alledged " enviromentalists" of this state that complain of noise,
exhaust, or whatever else they can come up with,Can go to for thier
enjoyment.
If these said" enviromentalists" would spend more of thier time caring
about what is going on over here on the coast (housing and development)
exausting open spaces in the lowlands,we' d all be better off! And by the
way-of your greenies at this meeting: How many of them ARE from
" the coast" ? (SEATTLE, BELLVUE, EVERETT,TACOMA,Etc.)
Now that I said that,I must reveal the I do spend much time hunting,
and driving in the Colville National Forest-IT IS along drive but I do
it numerous times a year.I have friends in Malo,Kettle Falls,Colvlle,
Orient,Ione,Gifford, and many others that also use this land with us,
and would not be well served if these roads were closed.
In closing,I will ask that you PLEASE do not put any more restrictions
on this land in question. We have people fighting and DIEING in Iraq
and Afganistan for freedoms-let' s not minimize these losses by taking
away our rights and freedoms HERE!!!!!!

Parting Shot;
JUST SAY NO TO WILD SKY
Wilderness proposal!!!!!!!! THANK YOU for your time
Jim Zielasko AKA DAWG DOO

[:-] Hey Wayne1,I know that idiot personally very well (can' t know anyone better)and if you look real close you' ll see some similarities?[]
Now for the important stuff; How are things in Stevens county? Have you got any moisture? Lots of critters running around?
I have spent the last 9 years hunting deer on the general opener between Barstow and Laurier But since we got a special any buck permit for GMU 329 we may not make it over there this year-If we do,it' ll be as " headhunters" ,or if we aren' t successful with these permits-we' ll be there for late whitetail.
Really would like to get a Mule deer this year![][:-]
Hope to hear from you..............................DAWG DOO AKA summit daWg

Hey summit daWg ...Been bone dry here cept for this morning we got a few drop' s of rain...Lot' s of critter' s running around here..Have seen lot' s of poult' s running around...so they had a good spring. Lot' s of big buck' s showing up now...but they alway' s do this time of year. if ya want a mulie...ya have to be over here the first part of the season since that' s the only time it' s open for em. I alway' s see lot' s of wildlife between Barstow and Laurier. I seem to see more & more turkey....but less and less grouse. Think everyone' s been seeing a bear or 2, and the other week a fella shot 2 cougar' s by the Barstow bridge. Let me know next time your over in the area, and I' ll have a cool one waiting for ya..

Wayne, I know why they got cougars there! I' m sure you know about the farm just over the bridge- go left about 1/4-3/8 mile and look down in the field -Usually 3 to 25 deer & turkeys up the ying-yang right behind the 4' x8' [X(] NO HUNTING sign. [X(]I' m sure you know the place.

Cold one sounds good![:-] Hope you get more rain. Later....S.daWg

Yeah very true for about 2 miles. My fondest dream of over there is to know all those farmers in that area very well. [:-]You know what I mean? I believe it" s the[X(] " No hunting" [X(]capitol of the world!

summit daWg...if ya keep on headed north on that road, you' ll come to a road on your left that will take you up onto First Thought Mt., then on over to Orient. That First Thought Mt. area has lot' s of good deer up there...plus I' ve seen some good Elk up there also.....just watch out for old mine shaft' s if you do any hiking up around the top. I' d think there would also be Turkey' s in the area.
